Responsibilities
As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our operations team, contributing to the efficient handling of import and export processes
Your responsibilities will include:
Documentation Management
- Prepare and manage import and export documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping documents.
End-to-End Shipping Process
- Coordinate and oversee the endtoend shipping process, from booking to delivery.
- Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to optimize shipment schedules and routes.
Customer Support
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping clients informed about the status of their shipments.
- Act as a liaison between customers and various departments to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of concerns.
Logistics Coordination
- Assist in coordinating logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure ontime delivery and customer satisfaction.
Compliance and Regulations
- Stay informed about international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to customs and trade regulations in the handling of shipments.
Multilingual Skills
- Fluency in additional languages is a bonus. The ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages will be advantageous in serving our diverse clientele.
Qualifications / Experience
- Prior office work experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Resultsdriven with a proactive and selfmotivated attitude.
- Multilingual skills are a bonus.
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
