To support our key strategic intent for a "more commercial approach to agriculture" deliver a tailored first-class support service for our growers, industry partners and customers.

Provide excellent support for the Agriculture function to ensure that we are able to maximise the effective working time of the department with growers and industry partners.

Core Accountabilities

  • Deliver a first class tailored telephonebased support service to our growers and industry partners based on our segmentation and offers.
  • Provision of Grower support for the Beet Account and Beet Portal.
  • Maintain a highly professional approach with the individual grower and capture all interactions in Ag CRM.
  • Support the maintenance of highquality data to ensure the accuracy of grower payments and transactions and for customer invoices. High quality data supports grower facing staff in their engagement with growers and industry partners.
  • Responsible for managing seed stores to ensure that all sugar beet seed can be accounted for and losses are minimised
  • Provide full administrative and query support for the annual contracting process including setting up contracting data in Croplands, printing contracts and resolving issues
  • Deliver operational communications
  • Maintain relations with the bodies' providing farm assurance and maintain the systems to ensure that all sugar beet delivered is compliant with Red Tractor Farm Assurance.
  • Other project work as required
  • Identification of opportunities to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Role model an impeccable health and safety attitude based on behavioural based safety principles to contribute to the creation of a proactive safety culture within the Agriculture department.
Skills, Knowledge & Competencies

  • Experience of working in a customer service environment and dealing with a wide range of individuals and coping with different abilities and emotions.
  • Experience of working issues through with people and moving to resolution
  • Customer / supplier engagement experience
  • Sales and administration experience preferably in an agricultural environment
  • Experience of working with CRM systems
  • Ability to professionally handle all types of enquiries raised by Agriculture and growers and other industry stakeholders
  • Skilled at identifying root cause of issues, identifying solutions and moving as quickly as possible to resolution.
