We at ASQ Education are looking to recruit Cover Supervisors or experienced TAs who are looking to train to become teachers in the future.

We are looking for applicants to support the Cover Team at an exceptional school in the Royal Borough of Kingston.

The role is set to begin as soon as possible and will run for the rest of the academic term (July 2023).

To be considered for this role you must have experience working within schools, colleges, HEIs or PRUs. Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor would be preferred.

However, this school would also be open to applicants who are aiming to become teachersin the future and want to gain valuable experience leading the classroom.


The Role


The Cover Supervisor role allows you to be flexible but also requires resilience and an understanding of how to control a classroom.

The position is in a secondary school in South West London, within the Royal Borough of Kingston, and has cutting-edge facilitiesavailable to its staff & pupils.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a leading rolein helping to contribute to the daily learning experiences and overall student development.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience and knowledge of working as a Cover Supervisor within Secondary Schools and/or relevant experience working as part of a Pastoral Team (Essential)
  • To understand and approach Pastoral duties with the appropriate attitude, resilience & duty of care
  • Confident in classroom & behaviour management
  • To own excellent organisational skills and to be flexible and resilient
  • You must be approachable to pupils and colleagues alike to be a team player
