Customer Service Assistant

Location:
Windsor Station (SL4 1QG)

Shifts:
YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON SATURDAY 6TH MAY AND SUDAY 7TH MAY 2023 FOR VARIOU SHIFT PATTTERS INCLUDING EARLY STARTS AND/OR LATE FINISHES

Pay rate:
£10.42 per hour

What does a Customer Service Assistant do?

This role will be working in line with major events that will affect the station, you should be confident working amongst large crowds.

Provide an impeccable customer service experience to customers and passengers on the railway.
Being vigilant and visible to all customers and other members of staff
Assisting customers with the usage of lifts and luggage
Communicate effectively with other staff and passengers in the interests of safety and customer service using information systems as supplied.
Report any antisocial behaviour with little disruption to other passengers as per the Railway Bylaws.
Must be confident in approaching passengers and helping with travel queries
Always bringing and outgoing and positive attitude to the station
Must be able to problem solve
Constantly proactive during the day helping where needed

Essential Requirements

You must hold valid ID to work in the UK and have a full national insurance number.
You will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening
You must be available to work on an immediate basis
You must be outgoing, confident and be able to make station announcements

ALL OUR ROLES ARE BASED WORKING IN A RAILWAY ENVIRONMENT, THESE ARE CLASSED AS 'SAFETY CRITICAL' THEREFORE YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND ABLE TO DO SO.
