  • This is an opportunity to really make a difference as you lead our Assessments Team through a period of change and transformation.
  • Over the last decade, the University has grown substantially and delivered a significant amount for our students, staff, and the wider community.

We are now proud to be home to over 25,000 students across three different campuses and working with a number of key collaborative partners in the UK and overseas.

Our course offering has broadened, and we continue to meet the emerging needs of the region, supplying the workforce with a talented pipeline of graduates in health, education, arts and humanities, social sciences and law, as well as newer areas such as engineering, medicine, and digital arts.

We have also provided opportunities for wider participation and increased much needed diverse representation across a range of careers.

  • In support of the continuous improvement across the organisation, there are several strategic projects aligned with the university's Vision 2030 strategy, which will deliver significant improvements in student and staff experience, including refining the student record system, developing smart timetables, improving placements management, enhancing case management, and improving the academic curriculum and our portfolio of courses.
  • The Head of Assessment Administration provides leadership and management across several core registry functions and reports to the Assistant Director of Registry Services (Student Administration).

The role leads a team of professional services staff to deliver first-rate end-user services across all stakeholders for all matters related to assessments, exam board outcomes and formal examinations.
