Job Purpose


Providing operational excellence and customer focused whilst ensuring all Health, Safety, Environment & Quality processes are delivering to the highest standards at all times.

As a highly motivated co-ordinator the key focus of this role will be to create a single and visual point of contact for all employees for day-to-day global Health, Safety and Environment requirements, providing exceptional customer service.

Please note, this is a 6 month FTC for maternity cover.


Key Achievements & Responsibilities

  • Manage company Health & Safety procedures to ISO 45001 International standard.
  • Manage company Environmental management system to ISO 14001 standard.
  • Manage company Energy management system to ISO 50001 standard.
  • Conduct audits of all aspects of the HSE protocols and procedures to ensure their compliance and improvement. Update and maintain a groupwide H&S risk register.
  • Coordinate and facilitate home worker and blended worker audits.
  • Assist in checks to ensure that all departments are following approved procedures according to an internal audit programme.
  • Monitor property portfolio safety on a daily basis through past and projected indicators.
  • Ensure that all statutes and regulations are being followed globally.
  • Notify and advise Workplace Manager on all HSE requirements.
  • Manage the development of HSE risk assessments and advise, train, and develop all employees in line with current Health and Safety legislation and to promote best practice.
  • Arrange and maintain HSE notices as appropriate throughout the global premise and for homeworkers.
  • Complete HSEQ questionnaires and support audits.
  • Monitor and report company carbon footprint objectives.
  • Develop and maintain serious incident protocols/response under RIDDOR for the investigation and followup of any serious incidents.
  • Define and deploy H&S performance reporting arrangements and metrics and produce performance reports for the Board, senior executives, etc.
  • Conduct DSE assessment and follow up occupation health recommendations for safe and healthy working environments.
  • Complete and work with the Team on ad hoc Projects, including but not limited to Insurance Renewals, Workplace Monitoring, Data Reporting, System Renewals.
  • Complete other duties at the discretion of management
Expected Outcomes

  • An integral role in the delivery of Workplace services in maintaining high standards of service throughout the global workforce; acting as an ambassador for both the team and RICS.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HSE principles and the ability to recommend safe work practices.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Environmental legislation, Environmental and Health and Safety management systems.
  • Proactive and forwardthinking approach to work, demonstrating adaptability and a desire to improve on existing working practices.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years' experience gained from working in a HSEQ Coordinator role or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH national general certificate in occupational safety and health or equivalent NCRQ Diploma.
  • IOSH Managing Safely (Essential if no NEBOSH or NCRQ)
  • Experience conducting audits of all aspects of the HSE protocols and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of business and guests.
  • Competent with software packages including MS Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strongly selfmotivated individual possessing a cando attitude and a drive to learn.
  • A positive, outgoing personality looking to be part of a strong team and willing to travel as necessary.
