Description
As the Supply Chain Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the day-to-day transactions and documentation of supply chain operations.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Create purchase orders and liaise with suppliers, farms, and growers.
- Coordinate inbound transport and track inbound deliveries.
- Process order confirmations.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries with 3rd party warehouses and the packing facility
- Work with the commercial team to manage customer orders
- Raise sales orders in line with customer purchase orders, communicate orders to 3rd party warehouses, and the packing facility
- Stock control and allocate stock to orders.
- Coordinate outbound transport with transport companies, 3rd party warehouses, the packingfacility, and customers.
- Coordinate collection of returned products and arrange delivery of replacements whenrequired.
- File (digitally) any paperwork related to purchases, sales, and logistics, and chase for any outstanding paperwork.
- Update internal tracking sheets and the internal software with accurate data.
- Provide general daytoday administrative duties when required and undertake any otherduty commensurate with the role.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in stock control and stock management
- Previous supply chain experience preferably in fresh produce
- A strong understanding of Office365 (specifically excel) and google sheets is necessary for this role
- Analytical and effective problemsolving skills
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Adaptability
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and work outside of conventional hours when required
- Ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures and work in a fastpaced environment.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

£24,000.00 per year
