About the role


Reed Scientific is looking for an enthusiastic, talented Formulation Scientist to work on the development of biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical products in a cGMP environment.

Experience of working with products in inhaled dosage forms would be a significantadvantage.


Responsibilities

  • Carrying out quantitative measurement of compounds in various formulations to support product development, stability testing and batch certification.
  • Carry out the manufacturing of Medicinal Products for clinical trials
  • Plan and carry out work to complete projects successfully
  • Document and report activities and results, whilst meeting standards of quality and compliance

Desired qualifications, skills, experience and qualities

  • Degree in chemistry or equivalent
  • Expert understanding of GMP protocols and formulation development
  • Previous experience of working in a cGMP Laboratory is essential
  • Analytical chemistry knowledge with experience in HPLC and experience of testing inhaled pharmaceutical products preferred
  • Good IT literacy skills
  • Be selfmotivated and demonstrate resilience
  • Be organised with attention to detail
  • Above all, be honest with the ability to provide great customer service
