About the role

Reed Scientific is looking for an enthusiastic, talented Formulation Scientist to work on the development of biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical products in a cGMP environment.

Experience of working with products in inhaled dosage forms would be a significantadvantage.

Responsibilities

Carrying out quantitative measurement of compounds in various formulations to support product development, stability testing and batch certification.
Carry out the manufacturing of Medicinal Products for clinical trials
Plan and carry out work to complete projects successfully
Document and report activities and results, whilst meeting standards of quality and compliance

Desired qualifications, skills, experience and qualities

Degree in chemistry or equivalent
Expert understanding of GMP protocols and formulation development
Previous experience of working in a cGMP Laboratory is essential
Analytical chemistry knowledge with experience in HPLC and experience of testing inhaled pharmaceutical products preferred
Good IT literacy skills
Be selfmotivated and demonstrate resilience
Be organised with attention to detail
Above all, be honest with the ability to provide great customer service
