Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, passionate and committed physiotherapy Associate Practitioner to join our adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy team in North East Essex.


You will embrace innovation and integrated working and will be committed to following best practice to ensure patient-centered care, encouraging patients to self-manage their conditions and support registered clinicians in their day to day role.

This will involve some administration duties alongside direct patient contact, both 1:1 and within classes.


ESNEFT has been awarded the Care Closer to Home contract by the North East Essex CCG and is committed to offering the people of North East Essex an integrated and seamless network of patient-centred services based closer to where they live and in their communities wherever possible.

As a result you will need to be flexible and able to work at various sites across Tendring in line with service requirements.


We offer a well-established supervision and appraisal structure and we have a firm commitment to CPD and evidence based practice.

You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical skills and knowledge, delivering a service as 1:1 and group sessions.


Work within an integrated team, contributing to the single assessment and contributing to the delivery of the integrated care plan.


Plan and provide programmes of nursing and therapeutic activities tailored to individuals and groups within a framework laid down by the registered nurses/therapists.

Implement and evaluate aspects of the care plan as delegated by registered nurses/therapists.

Support patients with advice, information, persuasion and direction to community resources to encourage self-management and ongoing independence.

Provide support to parents and carers.
