Castleton - Hope Valley

Cambion Electronics are a high-end, AS 9100-accredited, precision manufacturer with substantial track record in aerospace, military, industrial, medical, petrochemical, instrumentation and industrial markets.

Customer quality is at the heart of everything we do.

Role Scope:

To progress the daily Goods Inwards and Inspection activities whilst adhering to the company processes, policies, and procedures.
To assist with supplier engagement to ensure high levels of product and service quality with suitable and speedy resolutions to any issues that may occur.
To assist with promoting all continuous Improvement activities and ensure procedure and process adherence with regards to product quality.
To assist with all Reject notes, 8D and IRB investigations as required to ensure product and service quality.

Person specification:

Experience of using various types of inspection equipment
Background in the Manufacturing/QA/Electronics environment
Experience of company policies and procedures
Basic understanding of quality tools such as 5S, Ishikawa, SPC (and statistical analysis problem solving techniques), 8D, Kanban.
Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
Motivated with a positive "can do" attitude.
Demonstrate commitment to Quality.
Team player.

This position is full time and permanent and we are looking for a motivated person to join our team.
