This role is responsible for veneer preparation, working to the exact specifications of our clients.


Duties will include:

• Selecting and preparing veneer in line with specification on our production drawings
• Preparing layon's, panel processing, pressing and veneer sanding
• To ensure all production documentation is correct, prior to commencing work
• To communicate and report any construction / design issues to your line manager as they occur
• To plan and prioritise works to be undertaken on a regular basis ensuring project delivery dates are achieved
• Regularly monitoring quality control to ensure veneer processes are undertaken to the exact specification and standard quality expected.
• To report faulty or damaged equipment to your line manager as soon as it is noticed
• Responsible for ensuring adequate protection is applied throughout the manufacturing process
• Previous experience as a Veneer Preparer
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to read drawings
• A flexible and problemsolving approach
• Be proficient with hand and power tools
• The ability to work alone without guidance but also as part of a team
