Our clients dealerships are busier than ever and as result we are looking to recruit Workshop Controller to help support our team in our dealership in Aberdeen.
As a Workshop Controller, you will ensure that all customer requests are planned for in advance to ensure and efficient flow of work is carried out in a timely manner.
This requires continuous communication between the workshop and Front of House team to deliver the highest level of service to their customers.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Utilising the resources in the workshop to achieve budgeted financial and operational objectives without compromising the quality of the work produced and whilst ensuring the highest level of customer experience.
- Conducting team meetings and reviews, setting clear objectives and expectations.
- Leading, coaching and developing the team to elevate their performance and behaviours whilst delivering results.
- Ensuring appropriate resource management to deliver the highest level of customer experience.
- Managing the workflow through the workshop to achieve the highest levels of productivity, efficiency and utilisation.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment in the workshop.
- Achieving 100% of the budgeted financial and operational objectives from our client and their Brand whilst efficiently managing expenses.
- Driving and maintaining a team culture of high performance and excellence
Qualifications:
- Experience working within in a maindealer workshop with a good understanding of the technical requirements needed to manage a team of technicians to deliver high standards of workmanship.
- A good working knowledge of DVSA regulations and manufacturer's warranty procedures.
- An NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be advantageous but not essential.
- Proven experience in leading and managing successful teams to achieve results is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with a logical and methodical approach.
- Ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical staff and customers.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- A valid driving licence which is free from excessive penalties.

Salary:
From £32,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
