Description

We are recruiting to a post in the Physiotherapy Team on the Level 1 Neurorehabilitation Unit based at the Homerton Healthcare.

The role includes supporting patients with their physical rehabilitation under the direction of qualified Physiotherapists and associated duties managing the gym space and equipment.

You will be part of a large team of different professionals and you will work with people with life changing brain injuries from across the South East.

To be successful in the role you will have good rapport building skills, an empathic approach, flexibility, initiative and take direction well.

You will also be involved in supporting the treating physiotherapists to complete rehabilitation tasks that require additional pairs of hand to practice, such as the early practice of walking that needs two people to help the patient.

The role also will include responsibilities for the day to day management of the gym space and therapy equipment and other activities relevant to the role, such as monitoring the stock of consumable items and environmental and other audits.
