  • 62701This is your chance to work with an awardwinning interior design and architecture studio specialising in Hospitality, Retail and Residential design across the globe. We are looking for a Freelance Midweight Interior Designer to join the team for a 6 month contract on a Hybrid basis (three days in office, 2 out), working in the Fulham office 5 days the first two weeks.

Requirements:


  • At least four years work experience in Interior Design.
  • Hospitality and Retail sector experience.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working at all project stages.
  • Ability to work from the office in Fulham at least three days a week.
  • The hardware and software to be able to work from home two days a week.

Responsibilities:


  • Explore and discuss creative concepts, making suggestions at appropriate stages in the project.
  • Produce drawings to the highest standard and to template requirements
  • Support across the administrative aspects of a project e

g:
filing, source suppliers, manage incoming and outgoing drawings, catalogue presentation boards, etc

  • Managing incoming and outgoing drawings by printing, collating and filing them immediately according to the established filing system computer and paper
  • Proactively participate in internal team meetings and creative reviews; explore and discuss creative concepts at appropriate stages in the project
  • Assist in researching, selecting and collating appropriate and fitforpurpose finishes, sanitaryware and hardware that support the design
  • Attend internal review meetings and assist with any issues as they arise
  • Assist in the development and preparation of scheme designs
  • Attend final site visits with senior designer(s) and assist with any FF&E or styling requirements
  • Detail specific project requirements e.g. furniture sketching, electrical drawings, models etc.
  • This role is inside IR35.
