Position description:
- Provide all aspects of Health & Safety support and advice to our clients.
- Responsible for daytoday health and safety management for a variety of clients around the Birmingham, Leicester, Northampton, Nottingham locations
- Design, develop, implement, review and manage our Health & Safety Management Systems
- Proactive management of workload and our clients' expectations
- Delivering a high level of customer service.
Required experience/skills/abilities/attributes:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or higher
- Minimum 3 years hands on experience in Health & Safety management
- Experience of writing, and managing, Health & Safety Management Systems
- Familiarity of ISO45001 standard
- A clean driving license, your own car and flexibility for regular travel is a key requirement
- Ability to work alone, as well as within a client's team and work within a team of colleagues and managers
- Confident in working with people of all levels
- Strong communicator with a friendly, polite disposition
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional telephone manner
- Good attention to detail with great organisational and record keeping skills. Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Computer literate especially working to a good level with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Adaptable and cooperative to changing circumstances
- Demonstrable achievements and continuous improvements in previous roles
- Chaired Health & Safety monthly committees in previous role(s)
- To be people focussed with great communication
