Senior Transport Planner Bristol:
Due to growth, my client is looking for a Senior Level Transport Planner to join their team in the Bristol office.
The team has developed and grown to a wide-range of projects and clients that cover a diverse set of schemes all across the UK, which includes Residential, Retail and Education.
This would help the workload from the Bristol and Birmingham offices.The role:
You will be:
- Working on and Managing complex Transport Planning Projects
- Taking lead on the development and delivery of the Projects
You would be working alongside the Transport Directors to deliver top of the range Consultancy Advice, liaising and getting a firm understanding of Clients Requirements and to effectively manage resources.
You will be helping support and mentor more junior staff as well as continuing your Project Management and commercial skills.
Experience wise, you would need to demonstrate:
- Experience with Transport Statements, Assessments and Travel Plans
- Parking Strategies, Sustainable Transport, Section 278 and 106 agreements and guidance such as NPPF
- Use of the TRICS database
- Working use of PICADY and ARCADY, as well as an understanding of LINSIG
- Transport Modelling, and why this is useful
- Junction design (Roundabout, Signals)
