CNC Lathe Setter Operator - Permanent Vacancies at Spirax Sarco
Night Shift Vacancy

Starting Salary £45,307
(Not including overtime - overtime pay equates to an additional £8,000 - £10,000 per annum)

Basic Hours 38.75 hours per week Compulsory overtime hours
Base Hours - Monday - Wednesday 7pm - 6am and Thursday 6pm pm
With compulsory overtime - Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am


Meridian is recruiting for CNC Machinists with experience in setting and operating CNC turning machines to join the team at Spirax Sarco on their night shift.

The Role of the CNC Machinist:
Setup and operate CNC lathe / sliding head machines
Working to engineering drawings to produce components from predominantly cast stainless steel
Inspect work for proper dimensions and be able to document results
Working to production plans to meet production targets and KPIs Experience required:
Experienced in working with CNC lathes Mill turns
Experience with Stars or sliding head machines would be highly advantageous
Experience of setting and operating machines using either Fanuc or similar controls is essential for this role
Competent use of gauges and tooling
Experience in minor offset / program adjustments
