Business Contribution:


Under the supervision of the Director LEAN OPS, the incumbent works with teams to prepare and conduct LEAN process improvement events.

The incumbent will develop and prepare materials for use in the events, coordinate with department management and participants, LEAN instruction on the use of process improvement tools, facilitate team decisions, manage team work, resolve team conflict, assist in the development of implementation action plans, ensure implementation and conduct follow-up.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Adheres to all company Policies and Procedures and actively promotes LEAN and its activities and services to others
  • Presents, facilitates, supports and leads assigned LEAN improvement events and activities using methods of cultureappropriate team building, team energizing, training/workshops, data gathering, analysis, problem solving and project coordination / management
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation
  • Seeks and evaluates LEAN information, materials, and methods to match specific organizational needs as outlined by management, and adopts them to use in the execution of LEAN improvement events
  • Participates in and coordinates the development of event charters and scheduling of the events
  • Works with departmental management to assure appropriate participation and support
  • Assists in locating and reserving meeting locations and coordinating the delivery of services and materials necessary for a successful event
  • Provides event followup to monitor the progress of planned improvement implementation to assure timely action, appropriate management support, and achievement of expected benefits
  • Uses appropriate measurement, analysis and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document process improvements
  • Develops reports of overall LEAN activities including accomplishments, participation, projected activities, and anticipated needs
  • Coordinates with related departments and functions to assure appropriate information flow and understanding of overall process improvement direction
  • Prepares purchase information for departmental management review to identify materials and other resources required for effective implementation of LEAN
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
  • Proactively participate to safety awareness and improvement
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally. Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Be an ambassador for the businesses in particular ensure that Health & Safety comes first at all times
