Hawkins\Brown are looking for an Architectural Technologist to join the London team**Working with project architects and all project team members, the Architectural Technologist will support the development of the design, from concept through to construction on projects. The Architectural Technologist will also be part of Hawkins\Brown Specialist Design Studio, where they will liaise collaboratively with design teams across the practice.

Key areas of responsibility for Architectural Technologist role**:

  • Contribute to the detailed design process, package development and coordinating design information within the BIM environment (Revit/Navisworks) and assist in the production of detailed specifications
  • Input into creation of NBS specifications
  • Liaise collaboratively with wider members of the design team

Desirable skills:


  • Experience of working as an architectural Technician or Technologist
  • Experience of working with NBS Building and/or Chorus
  • Understanding of suite of PAS standards and/or ISO19650
  • Experience of CDE's such as Aconex/Asite
  • Proficient at Revit
  • Experience of CAD software such as AutoCAD
  • Understanding of clash detection process using Navisworks

Essential skills:


  • Experience in tender and construction package production within Revit software
  • Understanding of detailed technical design and construction methods
  • Understanding of UK regulation and code requirements
  • 12 years experience of using Revit including Content Creation
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to research and maintain updated technical skills
  • Very strong attention to detail
