An exciting 6 month Secondment/Fixed Term opportunity has arisen for an outpatient administrator to join our team in Sexual Health Services.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who is able to accurately input data and is confident in the use of computerised technology.

We would consider reducing the hours for a right applicant.

Working for our organisation

Sexual Health Services provide services in many locations throughout Nottinghamshire. We provide a comprehensive contraception and sexual health service to a multicultural community of all ages.


Our services are highly confidential and of a very sensitive nature and therefore our staff must be able to reflect this.

You will be required to work between the City Hospital Campus and Victoria Health Centre throughout the week.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We are looking to recruit an outpatient administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to all areas of the service. You will help us to organise and administer activities in line with agreed service priorities. Please see attached job description and person spec for further details.

Person specification

Training and Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Educated to 'O' level, GCSE or equivalent standard including English at Grade C.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent
Experience

Essential criteria

  • Previous experience in an office environment and with ICT systems
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of outpatient work and pathways
  • Customer Service
Communication and Relationship

Essential criteria

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with staff and the public at all levels.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and quickly adapt to changing situations.

  • Works with standard procedures

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

NUH will scan your ID and right to work documentation in to the Trust ID system at your face to face ID appointment.

The system will run a check against the key security features within your documentation.

The system will provide us with an outcome of your check which will be stored securely on your personal file along with all other pre-employment check documentation.
