Absolute Executive Search are looking for a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join an expanding Accountancy Practice based in Horsham, West Sussex.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to progress your career and is a key role within thePrivate Client department which involves managing a portfolio of key clients, providing them with technical support and advise.


Key Responsibilities Of The Role:
Review tax returns and computations in conjunction with key timescales.

  • Ensure all client private tax work is managed within budget.
  • Build relationships with existing and new clients, managing and exceeding their expectations.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge in many areas of tax relevant to private clients, including property, income tax, capital gains tax, IHT, trusts, estates, offshore trusts and also good awareness of UK and international taxation legislation.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Manage work in progress to ensure recoverability targets can be met and ensure that clients are provided with realistic fee quotes.
  • People management responsibility for one or more direct reports.

Key Requirements Of The Role:
CTA qualified and also a STEP and ADIT qualification would be advantageous.

  • Ability to manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and professional approach to advising clients.
  • Proven record in managing, coaching and mentoring teams.
  • Maintain in depth, up to date knowledge of taxation.
