Description

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team, to provide comprehensive support to the Chief Executive and Directors at Aberdeen Performing Arts.


Based primarily at His Majestys Theatre, and working across the Music Hall and the Lemon Tree as required, this role is pivotal in facilitating the executive management and operational efficiency of the organisation through a range of administrative, clerical, and managerial tasks.

This includes Executive support, Board support, coordination and preparation, diary and schedule management, reporting and compliance coordination, general office management and HR administration support as required.


About you

Youll have:
- proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar senior administrative role, preferably within a performing arts, cultural or charitable organisation.

  • Experience in supporting board and committee meetings, including taking minutes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and familiar with virtual meeting platforms including Teams.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • High motivation, be self sufficient, resourceful, discreet and flexible.
  • Experience of communicating professionally at a senior level stakeholders internally and externally.
  • An appreciation for the arts and a commitment to fostering a creative and inclusive workplace.

We are a real living wage employer and we are recruiting on a permanent, salaried basis, 37 hours per week.

Salary £35,000 - £38,000 depending on experience.
