Assistant Accountant

An experienced Assistant Accountant is required to join our client's business, a market leader in their field.

Study support - ACCA, CIMA or AAT is offered with this role plus one day per week working from home.

Due to growth of the business there is personal development and progression potential.

You will be working as part of a team reporting to the Finance Manager in this fast-paced role

Key tasks include:

Balance sheet reconciliations
Management accounts preparation accruals and prepayments, fixed asset postings, revenue review
Quarterly VAT return
Responsible for control of the bank accounts
Resolving accounting queries as they arise
Assisting the Finance Manager with month and year end, plus projects
Provide cover, on occasions, for purchase and sales ledger

Ideally you will already be AAT qualified with over 4 years' previous accounts experience within a varied role. You should have excellent organisation and communication skills and be keen to progress your career.
