An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Payroll Department at Lomond We are looking for a Payroll Co-ordinator to assist the Payroll Manager in maintaining an efficient and accurate payroll function for the Lomond network.
This role will support the end to end payroll service for over 1000 people across the the Lomond group over 10 monthly payrolls.
You will ensure each stage of the process is properly actioned with the goal that our people are paid accurately, on time and appropriate information is communicated to HMRC, our pension provider and other relevant bodies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To review and integrate monthly payroll data in the IRIS Cascade Payroll system starters, leavers, contract amendments i.e. salary increases, change in hours, overtime, bonus etc
- To administer SSP, SMP, SPP, Income tax, National Insurance, pensions, student loans and attachment of earnings in line with regulations
- Balancing payroll output and generating finance reports including BACS
- Process and submit pension upload files to pension portal
- Balancing year end and producing P11ds, P60's, pension reports etc.
- Publishing payslips and producing P45s
- Support in the management of benefits administration for our benefit in kind benefits (BIK)
- Support the wider Payroll manager and wider Finance team as required
ABOUT YOU
- Experience of end to end payroll processing
- Working knowledge of Payroll systems, legislation and best practices
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Personable and a good communicator
- Possess completer/finisher tendencies and is solutionsfocused when faced with issues
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve objectives with a cando attitude
- Excellent IT and numerical skills, ideally Excel experience
- Experience of using IRIS Cascade Payroll is desirable
