Wolf Healthcare Worcestershire are looking for passionate, reliable, experienced, and empathetic healthcare assistants to join the existing team of professionals at Wolf Healthcare in Malvern, Worcestershire.

As a Wolf Healthcare Care Assistant, you will be required to provide an excellent standard of care and support to our elderly clients in Malvern who live in a large, modern, luxury residential care home and who will have a variety of needs.

Health Care Assistant Role and Responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals with domestic duties and onsite social activities where needed
• Competent to administer medication
• Providing social and emotional support
• Assisting residents with personal care including personal hygiene needs if required
• Building and maintaining relationships with residents' friends and family
• Assisting with moving and handling (including using hoisting and wheelchairs where needed)
• Embracing personcentred approach

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience caring for, and supporting elderly individuals with a variety of needs
• ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience working with Dementia
• ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge and understanding to work with service users who may have mental health conditions
• MUST be reliable and dependable
• ESSENTIAL
• Passion to make a positive impact on lives with an empathetic nature
• ESSENTIAL
• Minimum of 6 months UK PAID experience in a Care Work setting
• ESSENTIAL
• Previous Healthcare experience MUST be within the last 18 Months
• ESSENTIAL
• Full UK driving license
• PREFERABLE
• Flexibility to work shift patterns
• ESSENTIAL
• Good verbal and written communication
• ESSENTIAL
• Ability, confidence, and initiative to Lone Work
• ESSENTIAL

• Physically fit

• ESSENTIAL

• IT literate

• ESSENTIAL

• CPI S.I. Certificate/PMVA

• PREFERABLE
• Practical Moving and Handling Certificate
• PREFERABLE
• MUST maintain confidentiality at all times
