Accelerate Facilities are hiring a School Cleaner for our client site, Brooklands Primary School.

Hours:
Part-time 10 hours per week Monday to Friday 4-6pm

Salary:
£11.44 per hour

Start Date:
As soon as possible

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard, including classrooms, hallways, staff rooms, toilets, and communal areas.
Operate cleaning machinery in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Use cleaning chemicals safely, following proper handling and storage procedures.
Work closely with other members of the cleaning, caretaking and school staff.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning.
Maintain a secure environment during cleaning hours.

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS check (required due to the nature of working in a school environment).
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliability and punctuality.
A positive attitude and respect for the school environment.
