The Support and Delivery Centre Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive & Support Team, which includes the Head of the Support and Delivery Centre, the cluster leads, Business Administration Manager and Finance Officer.

The postholder will be key in facilitating the efficient administration and delivery of the Support and Delivery Centre functions on a day-to-day basis.

The post holder will provide secretariat support to organisation-wide Support and Delivery Centre groups. This will involve arranging and organising appointments, meetings, training and events, and preparing and handling correspondence for the team.


The Support and Delivery Centre Administrator will be the first point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders in Wales and the UK.

Duties will also include data input, contacts database management and support for preparation of reports and presentations.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator who will provide support and co-ordinate a comprehensive, confidential and high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Director of Support & Delivery and the Executive Team in the Support & Delivery Centre, and to be responsible for the smooth and effective running of the administration and systems.

The post holder must work on their own initiative, develop their own administrative systems, manage, and prioritise their workload seeking advice and escalating issues to the relevant Manager when required.

The post holder is also expected to provide general administrative cover/support as and when required.


Based in the Cardiff office, the post holder will engage with staff at all levels of seniority and therefore will need to demonstrate effective influencing and persuading behaviours to ensure that deadlines are met.

They will also be the main point of contact for a wide range of staff, external stakeholders and organisations and must ensure that a professional image of the Support & Delivery Service is maintained at all times.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
