The Global Procurement (GP) function enables Deutsche Bank to optimise supplier relationships to meet its strategic objectives by partnering across Deutsche Bank to develop and execute strategies to meet our business requirements.

You will be working closely with key business stakeholders across the Bank to align on strategy and to facilitate Deutsche Bank's Procurement transformation programme.

Your key responsibilities

  • Defining, shaping, and delivering the SCS strategy making important decisions to support the GP's vision and priorities
  • Developing and implementing new sustainability initiatives to meet Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) goals set by the company's board of directors
  • Strengthening and resourcing the three pillars of: Environment, Social and Governance
  • Engaging with the wider business community in the field of SCS initiatives
  • Building and developing the SCS team, designing the organisation around broadening its skills and capability to cover the full range of ESG disciplines

Your skills and experience

  • A track record of experience in a senior management role with direct responsibility across Sustainability, Social Issues, Environmental Management, Quality and Standards
  • Extensive procurement experience in multiple disciplines across Supplier Management, Sourcing & Contract Management preferably within a Global and complex environment
  • A seasoned and recognised professional within SCS, with experience of communicating directly with internal stakeholders and an external peer group
  • A track record of creating SCS strategies, anticipating future consequences, opportunities and trends from internal and market perspectives
