Overview:
The bpi division sits within the Engineered Materials Division of Berry Global Inc.

a US listed company with an annual turnover of around $13bn and over 40,000 employees, and has manufacturing sites across the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland and Romania.

The Ardeer site specialises in industrial packaging and agricultural products which is exported worldwide. The site has received considerable investment in recent years within extrusion, print and the wide lines departments. The site has a capacity of around 40ktes and employs over 250 people.

An opportunity exists for a Sales Co-ordinator to join the team at Ardeer.


Qualifications:

  • You should be customer focussed with an interest in understanding customer needs and expectations. It would be preferable if you had previous experience of external customer service delivery
  • This role requires you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills. To support you in being successful you should be competent in excel and have an ability to use systems such as Dynamics
  • Our Sales Coordinators must have the ability to understand customer and product needs
  • Experience in flexible packaging would be desirable, however full training will be provided

Responsibilities:


  • You will be expected to manage all requirements and expectations of the customer, generating prices, managing the customer stocks, any new products and supporting customers with the makeup of their products
  • In this role you will really make a difference as you are one of the customers' key contacts. To allow you to be successful you will need to work closely with your customers to ensure you are knowledgeable of their full product range and requirements and provide quotes in a timely manner
  • Have a proactive approach to obtaining and placing orders from existing customers and new prospects
  • Interfacing with key departments such as planning, production and technical teams
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve all customer queries in a timely manner
  • Communicate and liaise with the External Sales Managers
  • Ensuring the customer has a positive experience whilst maintaining our commercial position
  • Responsible for stock control and ensuing stock levels and debts are maintained
  • Generate reports to provide management and customer information
  • Support other team members to provide excellent service levels
