If this describes you, then this opportunity is made for youAs a Finance Assistant at Quadrant Events, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our finances in order. You'll handle tasks like managing purchase and sales records, invoicing, and providing general admin support. Plus, there's plenty of room to grow in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase Orders & Supplier Invoices
- Process supplier invoices promptly, align with PO's, assign ledger codes, and transfer data to the Accounting System. Manage supplier statements and validate contracts.
- Purchase Ledger Admin
- Ensure seamless data transfer from the Rental Management System to the Accounting System. Review supplier statements for errors.
- Sales & Invoicing
- Validate contracts before invoicing, promptly send invoices to customers, and manage invoice data in the Accounting System.
- Sales Ledger Admin
- Respond promptly to customer queries, send regular customer statements, and chase outstanding debtors. Escalate concerns to the Financial Controller.
- Communication
- Efficiently manage incoming calls and provide support to other departments as needed.
Role Requirements
- Prior experience in a comparable role is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software packages and the Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Works autonomously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Adaptable and committed to continuous learning and skill development.
- Demonstrates innovation, logical thinking, and longterm vision.
