An exciting opportunity has arisen within the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative supporting the Director of Mental Health Strategy as the Personal Assistant.

The role will be on a fixed term basis (secondment applicants welcome) for 12 months until April 2025.

Previous NHS experience is not essential.


To co-ordinate and manage administrative services within Commissioning Hub and West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative ensuring smooth running of the office.

To identify and manage service improvements projects and efficiencies, including process improvements and cost improvements.

To provide personal assistant support to Director of Strategy including diary management, organisation of meetings, minute taking, and take responsibility for follow up actions as necessary.


The post holder will work between the Commissioning Hub and West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative at Birmingham Children's Hospital and will lead a team of administrators, and apprentices, providing training and day to day supervision.

The post holder will liaise regularly with business managers, IT, HR, Health records, Payroll, finance teams and have regular contact with parents and service users.
