£40,841 per annum pro rata (+ £3,344 inner London weighting if applicable)

A fantastic opportunity to join an international humanitarian organisation lead on the design and delivery of user research to improve end to end user journeys across our Crisis and Emergency Response Service.

What you will be doing

_ _

The User Researcher will support the design and improvement of key services across our Crisis and Emergency Response services by leading initiatives to better understand our users.


You will be part of a growing community of user centred designers, actively contributing to the development of our design approach and collaborating to ensure consistency and continuous improvement through shared learning.

What we are looking for

_ _

You will be an experienced User Researcher with demonstrable experience designing, conducting and analysing research across the product lifecycle to improve end to end user journeys, ideally across a range of channels.

You will be comfortable working in an agile environment within a multidisciplinary team


You will be able to engage, influence and support the product team and service experts in user research and incorporate findings into the design and delivery of services.

Over the past two years, British Red Cross has supported over 4 million people affected by emergencies in the UK, including over 1.5 million people face to face.

The CER team is a multidisciplinary team working across the disasters and emergencies portfolio area in the UK. Our team is small but what we can accomplish is significant.

We're united by a shared passion for user-centred design, data driven decision making, making things better for our volunteers and staff, and ultimately delivering valuable services and products to people in crisis across the UK.
