Part-time (22.5 hours per week, working Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)


CDL VIS also boasts an in-house Vehicle Valuation team who are constantly monitoring the market and analysing thousands of data points to ensure we deliver the most accurate current and forecast Car, Motorcycle and LCV valuations available.

CDL VIS delivers over 40 million accurate vehicle valuations per month for some of the largest Automotive, Insurance and Financial institutions in the UK.


Position In Organisation

  • Reports to Vehicle Valuation Services Team Manager.
  • Communicates directly with clients and associates.

Scope of job
- **Vehicle data
- **to maintain an accurate and up to date database of vehicle pricing and specification data.
- **Vehicle linking
- **to maintain an accurate level of internal model code linking, ensuring our vehicle valuation service returns the most accurate data possible to our clients.

Communication- to liaise with colleagues, clients and associates to trouble shoot internal or external data errors or resolve client queries.
- **Administrative Support
- **to deliver assigned tasks and support the wider team while working to deadlines.

Customer Relationship Management- to professionally represent CDL externally whilst building strong, ongoing working relationships.

Personal Development- to take ownership of personal development and proactively identify training needs to increase knowledge and skill levels.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Take responsibility and ownership for completing assigned tasks.
  • Take responsibility and ownership of our vehicle data.
  • Act as a CDL representative with clients and associates.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise:


  • A keen interest or experience within the automotive industry, specifically an understanding of vehicle types, drivetrains and specifications would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability with accurate data inputting.
  • Keen attention to detail along with experience proof reading would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work with numbers and perform basic calculations.
  • Proven experience of communicating and building working relationships with line management, colleagues, and clients.
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with Power Bi would be advantageous.

Qualifications

  • GCSE or equivalent A-C Grades in maths and English preferable.
