_We are seeking to recruit an individual to assist in fund operations, giving fantastic insights and practical experience of running a fund in the British Virgin Islands.
_About
ID Theory is a rapidly growing $65m multi-strategy fund that invests in blockchain-based protocols and digital assets.
We focus on investing in implementations of this technology that could not have been conceived of before its invention, targeting network-specific opportunities with a focus on the incentive mechanisms that drive their growth and proliferation.
ID Theory was launched in February 2019 by two co-founders who now have 18 years of combined crypto asset investment experience.
Over the last 2.5 years, the Fund has positioned itself as the leading investors in legally wrapped DAOs, with 16 of these entities now sitting within its portfolio.
Role
The role will focus primarily on ID Theory's back/middle office operations, specifically data collection, on-chain analytics and fund accounting. The recruit will support the core team on an array of recurring tasks, projects and ad hoc analyses.
Responsibilities
- Managing a working relationship with the Fund Administrators, handling the following tasks: Fund accounting, administrator queries, and monthly trade reconciliation.
- Management of the annual audit procedure.
- Investor queries.
- Fund performance updates.
- Tracking/reporting/analysing detailed performance metrics.
- Projectbased building of data systems.
- Ad hoc analytic presentations.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Enthusiasm and indepth understanding of blockchain and web
- Be familiar with analysing blockchain transactional data across the major networks.
- Relevant degree preferable: (Maths, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting).
- Work experience in middle/backoffice desirable with experience liaising with professional service providers such as auditors, administrators, and accountants.
- Expert in Excel.
- Coding ability preferred
- API integration skillset (MongoDB).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Diligent and detail orientated. Must have excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Team player, willing to help in areas not explicitly related to job duties.
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to take the initiative without needing direction to meet challenging deadlines.
- Flexible work hours depending on demand.
- The position will involve dealing with challenging, diverse and often highpressured scenarios. The role will often include working evenings, weekends and public holidays. This will be a demanding role, and only those with a strong work ethic should apply._
Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
