About Our Client:

Our client is part of a large global Group of companies. The site near Sandiacre has a finance team of c. 20. The business offers fabulous benefits and lots of flexibility.

The Finance Director has a proven track record of progressing staff internally, so if you want to progress into another area of finance in the future, this could be a great opportunity for you.

You will be working alongside 3 other Purchase Ledger Clerks and will be reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager. The invoice processing can be complex and there will be a lot of investigatory work.


You will be responsible for:

  • Processing purchase invoices using 2 way and 3 way match
  • Identifying and investigating invoice discrepancies
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Monthly statement reconciliations
  • Monthly accruals
  • Monthly credit card processing and intercompany transactions clearance and reconciliation

The Successful Applicant:


  • Have experience of working in purchase ledger
  • Have the ability to collaborate with others but you will also be a self starter
