We are a part of the Beauparc Utility Group and a leading waste management company in West Yorkshire, providing integrated and collection and recycling services to a wide range of businesses and local authorities alike.

We are looking for a Fabricator/Welder to join our Fabrications team in Bradford.

You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining waste containers ensuring good quality of work representing the Company's standard for our customers.

Main responsibilities

Work closely with the welding and fabricating team and third-party contractors.
Welding, grinding, and other duties as required and set by the Fabrications/Maintenance Manager.
Ensure that prior to commencement of any work carried out you clear the area of any hazards.
Repairing and maintaining waste containers, ensuring they are prepared to a standard fit for use and presentable to customers.
Ensure general housekeeping of the Welding and Fabricating yard is kept to a standard that is a safe environment to work in.
Offer support to the maintenance workshop as and when required.
Clean down your working area at the end of each shift making sure you work in a safe environment at all times.
To carry out any other duties requested by the Fabrications/Maintenance Manager.
Maintain machinery and equipment to high standard.
Complete, check and return all paperwork required in undertaking these duties (log sheets, tool checks, etc.).
Deal with customers and other personnel on Company's and client sites in a responsible and professional manner.

Health and Safety

Follow all Health and Safety guidelines and instructions at all times.
Ensure that you are correctly attired with PPE at all times.
Ensure all hot works are carried out following guidelines set by the HSE.
Communicate immediately any hazards which you identify to the Fabrications Manager.
