An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this international market leader in the built environment space as Research Marketing Communications Manager.


This is a key role in the wider team and will be responsible for developing and delivering a global communications programme to share the company's research outcomes with clients, partners and stakeholders to advance their position as the sustainable developmentpartner of choice.


To be successful in this role, you will have proven ability to work well with senior level stakeholders, excellent writing skills and be able to manage projects to a very high standard.

This role covers both internal and external communications a good understandingof marketing, PR, social media, and internal communications is a must.


Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, delivery and assessment of an integrated marketing and communications plan to support the global applied research programme, working with key stakeholder to identify highvalue research projects and outcomes to bring to internal andexternal audiences
  • Deliver an annual programme of tactical marketing and communications activity to share research outcomes with our clients, stakeholders and members, including events, videos, podcasts, articles, whitepapers, media/PR opportunities and social media campaigns
  • Collaborate with the wider global marketing network and key stakeholders to develop and deliver integrated campaigns to identify and communicate research outcomes to help advance the company's market position
  • Provide marketing advice and support to research teams across the firm to help identify potential market opportunities, understand audiences, and develop and deliver integrated communications plans
  • Identify industry opportunities, including events, awards, conferences, and media/PR opportunities
  • Report on the impact of marketing activity, including production of an annual impact report as part of the annual strategic marketing planning cycle
  • Manage creative projects from concept through to delivery, collaborating with key stakeholders and managing budgets and controls
  • Develop creative briefs and commission external creative work as required
