Cranleigh STEM are recruiting for a failure investigation electrical engineer to join a technical, consultancy business at their state-of-the-art facility in Leatherhead on a permanent basis.


You will be point of contact for electrical failure investigation projects, from initial point of contact with customers, writing technical and commercial proposals, carrying out technical work and delivering reports to clients.


You will have access to our clients' state-of-the-art test facility, allowing you to carry out full forensic strip-down and analysis of customers assets.


Location:
Our client is based in Leatherhead, Surrey.


Main duties include:


  • Undertake forensic investigations at locations such as electrical equipment manufacturers, commercial premises, renewable energy, and large industrial sites.
  • Forensic strip down and fire investigations of industrial and consumer products.
  • Products/equipment electrical safety and reliability assessment.
  • Root cause failure analysis of electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Experience of quality control/failure investigation in a hightech manufacturing environment, or undertaking expert witness work would be advantageous.
