A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at Breeze Motor Group for a
Workshop Controllerto join our
Breeze Van Centre Poole, however flexibility is required depending on business needs across our other dealerships.

You will join us on a
full-time permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a

Hours:
Mon

Fri 8 AM 6 PM (1 IN 3 Saturday on a rota)

Responsibilities as our Workshop Controller:

Monitor jobs in progress
Maintain maximum workshop productivity and allocate labour fairly and efficiently
Carry out spot checks to ensure quality and accuracy of work, especially MOT testing
Report accurately all materials, consumables and hours used per vehicle
Achieve and strive to exceed all targets through an efficient workshop operation
Maintain quality control on all repairs
Formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum sale of parts and labour
Ensure correct allocation and maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the workshop
Ensure the workshop achieves budget objectives by allocating work to the appropriate skill set
Ensure all health & safety legislation and internal procedures are followed
Communicate effectively with colleagues & customers updating state of repairs
Ability to confidently speak with customers in any given scenario such as upsell or a complaint
Demonstrate a 'Can Do ' Attitude at all times
Administration, invoicing, jobcard prep, management of workshop loading/diary

What we are looking for in our Workshop Controller:

Experience in a similar role, essential
Full clean Driving Licence
Ability to use own initiative when faced with a challenge
Computer skills essential
Knowledge of CDK desirable, although training will be given
Ability to use own initiative and multitask
Possess exceptional organisational skills
Team player
Personable approach, with a polite and courteous manner
