A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at Breeze Motor Group for a
Workshop Controllerto join our
Breeze Van Centre Poole, however flexibility is required depending on business needs across our other dealerships.

You will join us on a
full-time permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a

Hours:
Mon

  • Fri 8 AM 6 PM (1 IN 3 Saturday on a rota)

Responsibilities as our Workshop Controller:


  • Monitor jobs in progress
  • Maintain maximum workshop productivity and allocate labour fairly and efficiently
  • Carry out spot checks to ensure quality and accuracy of work, especially MOT testing
  • Report accurately all materials, consumables and hours used per vehicle
  • Achieve and strive to exceed all targets through an efficient workshop operation
  • Maintain quality control on all repairs
  • Formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum sale of parts and labour
  • Ensure correct allocation and maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the workshop
  • Ensure the workshop achieves budget objectives by allocating work to the appropriate skill set
  • Ensure all health & safety legislation and internal procedures are followed
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues & customers updating state of repairs
  • Ability to confidently speak with customers in any given scenario such as upsell or a complaint
  • Demonstrate a 'Can Do ' Attitude at all times
  • Administration, invoicing, jobcard prep, management of workshop loading/diary

What we are looking for in our Workshop Controller:

  • Experience in a similar role, essential
  • Full clean Driving Licence
  • Ability to use own initiative when faced with a challenge
  • Computer skills essential
  • Knowledge of CDK desirable, although training will be given
  • Ability to use own initiative and multitask
  • Possess exceptional organisational skills
  • Team player
  • Personable approach, with a polite and courteous manner
