Job Summary:

I am seeking a skilled / unskilled ( as on job training given ) Gardener to join my small business.

I am a gardener that is responsible for the maintenance and care of the plants, flowers, and green spaces of a number of sites in and around Kent and South East London.

Duties:

Litter picking / Bin management on some sites.

Cutting grass using strimmers / mowers/ ride on mowers.

• Plant, cultivate, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and lawns
• Prune trees and hedges to ensure they are healthy and aesthetically pleasing
• Weed and mulch gardens
• Water and irrigate plants as needed
• Operate hand tools such as pruners, shovels, and rakes
• Utilize power tools for larger landscaping tasks
• Perform groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean and tidy

Qualifications:
No experience in gardening is necessary or groundskeeping as training will be given but any experience an advantage.

• Knowledge of plant care techniques including watering, fertilizing, and pest control not essential as on site job training will be given.
• Ability to operate both hand tools and power equipment effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a neat and organized outdoor environment.

Can work as a team or work and organise tasks on their own.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of different plant species and their specific care needs

Previous experience in working out doors in all weathers.

Can operate simple tools and machinery competently.

Good communication skills as interaction with public part of the job.

Good time keeping
