    Operating Model Principal Consultant

    Salary: Up to £105,000pa + Bonus + Benefits

    Altum Consulting is partnering with a distinctive and established British business that aims to expand its successful People and Organisation consulting practice.

    The organisation is headquartered in London, with offices across the UK, providing unique market positioning and global recognition. The consultant will focus on applying in-depth knowledge of and specialist skills in operating model and organisation design and implementation across various client projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Expert capability in operating model and organisational design and implementation.
    • Applies relevant theories and evidence-based practices to lead the design and delivery of organisational diagnostics workshops.
    • Reviews, analyses and reports on clients' organisational behaviour and cultural landscape.
    • Applies knowledge of organisational change theories and practices to make recommendations to address client challenges.
    • Contributes to the development of methodologies, tools, thought leadership papers and the People & Organisation community of practice and Operations Consulting skills network.
    • Brings a passion and evidenced capability to develop and present business proposals to clients, grow and develop long-term commercial client relationships for the organisation.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and spoken.
    • Able to build trusted client relationships quickly and at all levels, representing the consulting company with gravitas and capability.
    • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple commitments/projects simultaneously.
    • Able to understand and assess complex issues and present solutions in a clear, easy-to-understand way.
    • A team player, a self-starter with a can-do attitude and who understands that the best solutions come from collaborating internally and with the client.
    • Strategic thinker who can deal well with ambiguity and influence and shape direction of stakeholders.

    Education and Experience:

    • A first degree and/or extensive experience in people and change consulting and/or a Master's degree in the behavioural or management sciences field, e.g. occupational psychology, organisational behaviour, organisational design, MBA.
    • Typically, 8+ years of experience in a consulting environment.
    • Experience in the Rail, Highways, Energy, Aviation and/or Water sectors.
