Utopia Supported Housing are looking for a genuinely passionate and committed person to join our team as a Senior Support Worker in our Supported Accommodation provision.


As a Senior Support Worker you will have proven experience in leading shifts and supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the provision, Supporting young people between the ages of 16 to 18 years.


You will promote a supporting environment, providing the highest levels of person-centred support, meeting the individual needs of the young people.

You will ensure that everyone is treated with respect and dignity and support everyone's rights to privacy, independence and choice.


The role will include responsibilities around supervising the young people, monitoring and evaluating the support that we deliver and ensuring all legal requirements are met.

You will engage and support young people with day-to-day living.


You will help supervise a team of support workers, providing leadership and inspiration to the staff that you manage and young people we look after.

You will support and promote an environment which embraces equality and diversity in terms of both your colleagues, visitors and the children we look after.


You will be willing to undertake any reasonable additional tasks that the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and other members of the management team ask of you.

Enrolment on the NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care

You will need good report writing skills and basic computer skills.


Interpersonal skills will be essential, and you will need to be able to work as a member of a team.


Previous experience preferred however full training provided and this is a full-time job on a shift Rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Our homes span from Hastings to Eastbourne, so applicants must be prepared to travel
