Unitrunk a leading manufacturer of steel cable management systems currently require an enthusiastic and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join their team at our new depot in Cardiff.


Warehouse Supervisor -
The Role:


The warehouse supervisor will have responsibility for coordinating warehouse activities to ensure efficient utilisation of resources and maintain high standard of customer service.


This is a hands-on role and duties will include:

  • Managing workload and allocation of duties to all warehouse/transportation staff
  • Ensure that all products are stored in the allocated location and handled correctly
  • Manage stock levels through the stock replenishment system ensuring that any issues are reported immediately
  • Reorder required stock through the Purchasing Ordering Process and ensure that outstanding deliveries are received correctly and in a timely fashion
  • Ensure all deliveries are booked in correctly, paperwork is filed and discrepancies are communicated to the supplier using the appropriate system
  • Minimize and investigate all instances of damaged product and log
  • Report any short deliveries to the sales office as soon as they are discovered
  • Ensure that all vehicles are compliant and that all VOSA standards and requirements are fulfilled
  • Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained throughout the warehouse and yard
  • Carry out stocktaking as and when required
  • Ensure trade counter service is of the highest standard
  • Previous experience of managing teams within warehouse environment
  • Experience of operating a computerised warehouse system
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Good IT skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Counterbalance forklift certificate
