Established in 1984, we are a Family Run business based in Ewloe, Deeside.

We are pleased to offer a part time position for an auction porter / driver within our establishment.

We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, you need to be punctual, reliable and friendly as you will be on site with clients and customers.

You need to be able to work as part of a team or on your own.

Job purpose

Carry out full range of auction porter duties at our auction centre.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety and Environment policies are observed at all times
Receive and collect vehicles into the compound, prepare the car for auction, photograph the vehicle for sale.
Assist customers when viewing and when vehicle collections take place.
Comply with all employment policies specifically Data Protection
Displaying & handling of retail stock
Ability to accurately pick and pack
Adaptability to a very fast paced environment
Ability to work with enthusiasm and pace
The confidence to connect with customers
Recognise that attention to detail is critical
Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy
Ability to learn and share expertise of products
Ensuring the premises remain safe and clean

Qualifications:

No specific qualifications are required however a counterbalance forklift licence is preferable as is a full driving license as there may be some driving duties necessary.

Good attention to detail, computer skills and complete confidentiality are also required.

Working conditions

Physical requirements

The auction porters are working in an indoor and outdoor environment requiring a high level of physical fitness.

Hours per week may vary.
