Description
The Raise Academy is a brand-new school opening in September 2024. The school will specialise in supporting up to 64 pupils aged 11-16.


All members of staff have a commitment and passion to deliver the best possible educational experiences, encouraging all students to dream big and empowering them to lead successful and fulfilling lives, in a safe and protected, well-supported atmosphere.

Our aim is to reignite that love for learning that may have been lost at some point, through inspirational teaching and provision of opportunity.


The Raise Academy will also provide the opportunity for you as educators and those supporting education to make a real difference in an environment that supports your professional development.


Key Priorities
To provide a high-quality counselling service to students experiencing a wide range of emotional challenges

Support the vision and direction of the school

To provide support, guidance and advice to parents, carers and across the school.

To observe appropriate confidentiality and to support the school's endeavour to provide excellent teaching and learning for all students.

Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people


Specific Responsibilities
To be responsible for the confidential counselling services to students as needed.

To ensure a personalised mental health and wellbeing plan is in place for all students

To be responsible for advice and support to staff relating to specific students.

To be responsible for maintaining appropriate and confidential records.

To liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Lead/Pastoral Lead on a frequent basis.

To provide regular audit information such as numbers, age range and types of problems to the SLT.


To have a thorough knowledge of specialist Mental Health provision locally and nationally and the ability to facilitate external support where required.

To be committed to parental partnership in education and developing links between school, home and the community


To continually review and evaluate the service to ensure it offers the most effective support to students and their families.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£29,016.00-£36,437.00 per year
