Have you ever wanted to work as a classroom assistant but unsure where to start; the Belfast City Council Employment Academy can help, no experience or qualifications necessary.


  • Living in the greater Belfast area;
  • Unemployed;
  • Ready and willing to move into employment;
All positions will be classroom based and require you to:

  • Support pupils and teaching staff in day-day activities,
  • Manage challenging behaviour,
  • Undertake tasks assigned by the teacher,
  • Support childrens education and learning by carrying out a range of activities


Positions may require you to carry out personal care on children with special educational needs, complex needs or various forms of disability.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
From £9.50 per hour
