Description

GKR are working with a fast growing and established residential property agent who are an embedded name in London.

Due to growth of the business and view to drive further profitability by understanding detailed financial management information our client is looking to bring the finance function in-house.

The role of the Financial Controller will play a pivotal part inthe 5 year plan and work directly with the Partners.

Role:

Collaborating with the Board in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of the company's finance and accounts
Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers Providing the Board with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategizing
Summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to the Board
Providing external accountants with the necessary documentation and support
Supervision and authorisation of payments across all relevant platforms
Ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
Liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparation
Develop strong systems and financial controls, setting best practice across the business
Ensure the completion of bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Budget analysis
Managing, mentoring, and motivating the accounts team
Budgeting & forecasting
Contributing to company financial strategy and decisionmaking process
Undertaking financial analysis and reporting
Reviewing cash flow and distribution forecasts
Always presenting a professional approach, maintaining brand standards, and adhering to company best practice at all times.
Any other duties required to support.
