YOUR ROLE:


  • Produce and present the weekly trading report analysing business performance. Identify key trends/recommendations and communicate these to stakeholders.
  • Own the month end process for commercial areas providing insights for monthly reporting packs.
  • Risk and Opportunity management, to drive ownership of pivotal opportunities but also manage the quantifiable risk within the financial forecast.
  • Model, understand and interpret financial and operational implications of strategic opportunities.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve reporting and analysis to better support stakeholders.
  • Manage, lead, and inspire a team of two Analysts.
  • Work alongside functions to drive improvements in insight, reporting and processes.
  • Other ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.

YOUR SKILLS:


  • ACA/ICAS/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business awareness is essential.
  • Comfortable dealing with, influencing and challenging senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate and present data to produce meaningful information.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience in a Commercial or Corporate Finance setting (retail/ecommerce preferred)
  • Experience of partnering with buying & merchandising functions would be preferrable.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Google Analytics, Qlikview, etc.
