Reed Scientific are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a team of experienced water hygiene specialists to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments across Wales.

What you'll be doing:


  • Travel to client locations and complete Legionella Risk Assessments and Reviews in line with ACOP L
  • Ensure all reports are produced accurately and within set deadlines.
  • Update documents to ensure compliance with current legislation.
  • Advise customers of any noncompliant aspects of their sites and produce proposals to remedy such noncompliances.
  • Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSG274 ACoP L8, Water Regulations).
  • Take final documents back to clients and explain any actions which need to be addressed following the survey, ensuring compliance with the current legislation.
  • Deliver training to both staff and clients.

What you need:


  • Have at least 1 years' experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments (C&G qualified).
  • A thorough understanding of water systems and ACoP L8 / HSG27
  • Good attention to detail/audit skills.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to build up client relations.
  • Proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Driving license with at least 2 years' experience.

40 hours per week - any 5 from 7 days. Working away will be part of this role. 5 nights on a rota system (no more than 20 nights per year).
