JOB- Project Manager

LOCATION- Essex

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- Circa £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you're looking for)

My client are a leading supplier of varied technical equipment and machinery to different industries and they are looking to take on a Project Manager, on a permanent basis, in the Essex area.


The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Have previous experience working within a similar Project Manager role in a technical manufacturing engineering environment
  • Experience of managing projects/ various project life cycles
  • Be able to work well with colleagues and Managers in other departments, as well as with shop floor staff
  • Have good skills when it comes to building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be organised, efficient and driven, with a strong customer focus

The Project Manager role will involve:

  • Working as a Project Manager in the Technical Office
  • Working with commercial, technical and project skills on a daily basis
  • Managing all types of projects through the business
  • Always looking to meet project objectives in terms of cost, quality and delivery
  • Managing any project risks and issues
  • Liaising with customers and also suppliers in relation to any technical issues
  • Travelling as part of the role as required supporting a worldwide customer base
